Times are tough for our Masked Pervert. In his guise as Kyosuke, his tender bond with Aiko is gradually getting frayed. Increasingly resentful of his lingerie obsession, which she just can’t understand, Aiko even demands that give her his underwear, the dominant element of his crime-fighting kit. And as Hentai Kamen, his sworn enemy Ogane and his cronies are sucking up all the used panties they can find, to deny him his superpowers. Now vulnerable, he must find the strength inside himself to fight wrongdoers without relying on stimulating scents and undergarments.

Given the outrageous success of HK/FORBIDDEN SUPER HERO, reflected in the two Public Prizes earned at Fantasia 2013, writer and director Yuichi Fukada wisely decided not to tamper with his well-oiled machine. HK2 again had its way with Western and Japanese superheroes alike, notably Sam Raimi’s SPIDER-MAN, with a film engorged with salacious gags, absurd dialogue, hilariously over-the-top action, and a rogue’s gallery of grotesque baddies including Mr. Vacuum and a powerful robotic crab-man. Bouncing along briskly, the funny, inventive and very well executed HK2 delivers once again another wild and noisy night your underwear won’t soon forget. Translation: Rupert Bottenberg
